| Zero Walk Stratford, 2007 DV Video 15mins.

‘Zero Walk’ was done in collaboration with a dancer/choreographer Persis Jade Maravala and the group Urban Dolls. It was filmed in a centre of Stratford, London, which as future Olympic site is rapidly changing. This video record the performers crossing a parking platform in 15 minutes. Therefore the notion of resistance against time becomes central. This slow action called ‘Zero Walk’ means performers are moving so slowly that their movements are barely recognizable. |
